Parent Participation

Parent volunteering, donations and support are an important and integral aspect of the Morning Star School experience.  Schools and children thrive when parents are involved.

A variety of events is held outside of class hours that provide opportunities for our student's families to meet each other. These include gatherings, fields trips, and classroom activities.  Many of these are dependent on parental donations and/or volunteers to succeed, and we look forward to working with you to create a great environment for all of the students and families enrolled.

Fundraisers are sometimes held to enhance family/school activities as supported by the staff and parents.  Fundraisers are determined by staff and parents working together.  In the past, funds raised have paid for such things as photo paper and ink cartridges so that we can provide parents with photos of their children engaging in activities at school, large equipment or maintenance purchases that are needed by the school, entertainment at parties, event supplies and many other parent sponsored items and activities.

Volunteer parents contribute their time and effort and provide the resources that help elevate our program from good to great. There are a variety of opportunities throughout the year to volunteer, donate, interact with other parents, and get involved.

Morning Star School is a privately held school and is not a non-profit organization.
