Our Prek/Kindergarten curriculum is fun, hands on, very active and designed as Kindergarten preparation for 4 to 5 year olds, and as a Kindergarten class for those children who are ready for the next level of instruction. Children are gently conditioned to Kindergarten expectations over the course of the year in a developmentally appropriate manner. Our daily period of mock Kindergarten for Preks, and formal Kindergarten for older children, gives children practice in teacher-directed activities and in learning to self complete tasks. Academics are woven through out the curriculum and will be taught at appropriate age & ability levels in small groups. Students are evaluated in Fall and again in the Spring for readiness in academics, socialization and emotional development.
